Sheila M. Hall has been with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) for over 22 years.  At the beginning of her career with OSHA, she spent over five years at the Peoria Area Office as an Industrial Hygienist where she inspected businesses.   The next eight years were spent at the Chicago Regional Office serving in various capacities including internal performance auditor and technical expert on respiratory protection and bloodborne pathogens.  During the last nine years, she has been located at the Des Plaines Area Office where she was the Response Team Leader and is currently the Compliance Program Manager – Industrial Hygienist.  Sheila Hall has given many presentations throughout the country on industrial hygiene topics and has taught at the OSHA Training Institute.

Sheila Hall is no stranger to leadership of a local section.  She served as President or President-Elect of the AIHA Prairie Section for four years and on the Board for one year.  Under her leadership, the local section began hosting half-day educational seminars on industrial hygiene topics.  Due to this proactive approach, membership and the treasury went up by at least one order-of-magnitude during her tenure.  Sheila Hall was the founding Chairperson for the Downstate Illinois Occupational Safety and Health Day.
