Industrial Hygienist / Physician Partnership: Can we
talk?"
The presentation will discuss the relationship between
industrial hygienist and physician in the performance of
industrial hygiene work. The following topics will be
discussed :
- Respirator selection and medical approval
- Biological monitoring
- Investigating complaints/illness in the workplace,
including:
Cancer clusters
Irritation/odor, IAQ complaints
Asthma
- Biological and chemical allergies at work
- Work related infections
